Venue networks are sized for a peak that lasts a few hours and then vanishes. Thousands of devices associate within a short window, payment and ticketing carry the revenue, and the deadline is a published event time that will not move because a switch is late.
Density is the whole problem. Coverage is easy in an empty hall and irrelevant, because a full house of bodies absorbs signal and every device competes for airtime. The design has to assume the seats are occupied.
