Cambium point-to-point, Wi-Fi and cnMaestro deployment
Coordinate radio path, mounts, grounding, alignment, spectrum and cnMaestro onboarding for repeatable outdoor wireless work.
What makes this rollout different
Cambium deployments can involve point-to-point or point-to-multipoint radios, cnWave platforms, enterprise Wi-Fi and cnMaestro management. The approved radio and frequency design must identify endpoints, expected capacity, channel plan and regulatory settings before field work begins.
Outdoor installation is governed by structure, wind loading, mount stability, line of sight or Fresnel clearance, grounding, surge protection, weatherproofing, cable route and safe access. Alignment uses the manufacturer-supported method and measured link data rather than visual aiming alone.
cnMaestro onboarding requires account or tenant ownership, device serials, software targets, templates and naming. Acceptance records RSSI or receive level, modulation, signal-to-noise, error behavior, throughput and representative application service at both ends.

Platform families in the field package
The site kit, instructions and validation must match the role of each product family.
PTP and PMP radios
Outdoor links installed to path, frequency, mount and capacity requirements.
cnWave
Millimeter-wave distribution and mesh options for supported architectures.
Cambium Wi-Fi
Indoor or outdoor APs coordinated with switching, PoE and RF design.
cnMaestro
Cloud or on-premise management, inventory, templates and lifecycle operations.
Repeatable deployment runbook
Every stage has prerequisites, an owner, evidence and a clear exception path.
Path gate
Confirm coordinates, height, obstruction, spectrum and expected link budget.
Build
Install mounts, grounding, surge, weatherproofing, cable and power.
Align
Use supported alignment and document radio metrics at each endpoint.
Close
Validate throughput, management, photos, serials and exception ownership.
Site acceptance evidence
- Mount, fasteners, grounding and weather seals match the approved detail.
- Link metrics meet the designed threshold with stable modulation.
- Representative traffic and approved failover behavior are verified.
- Both endpoints, cables, antennas, software and photos are documented.
