Mounting, player and network installation
Install the listed mount and hardware into a verified structure, observing manufacturer torque and safety instructions. Provide ventilation and access to power, inputs, controls and player. Secure small devices without blocking airflow or wireless antennas.
Connect the player to the intended wired or wireless service and verify DHCP, DNS, time, certificates and required outbound destinations. Label display, player, network and power consistently with the CMS record. Avoid consumer extension arrangements hidden in walls or inaccessible cavities.
Screens hang in customer-facing space, so the sequence should say when the wall is drilled and when content goes live, with a hold before anything is published to a public display. Photograph the existing bracket and cable path, retain the removed screen until acceptance, and note substituted anchors as they happen.

Playback, scheduling and recovery tests
Set input, orientation, resolution, overscan, brightness, power schedule and audio behavior. Enroll the player in the correct tenant and group, then verify download, cache, schedule, transitions and proof-of-play or health telemetry where supported.
Restart player and display, interrupt and restore the network, and confirm the approved cached-content behavior. Test remote screenshot, control or alert functions when licensed. Inspect representative content from normal viewing distance for cropping, small type, contrast and motion artifacts.
Proof for a signage install is largely visual: a photograph of the finished screen showing the scheduled playlist, plus the player’s reported online state and content version in the CMS. Time-stamp the recovery test after the network interruption. Send blank-screen or wrong-content reports with the device name and the local clock time.

Assign content publishing, CMS administration, device monitoring, license renewal, firmware and physical service ownership. Record safe access requirements and compatible spare player, cable or adapter details so a repair does not change the signal design.
At the next content change, what someone needs is which input the player occupies, what adapter sits in the chain, and how the display is powered and scheduled, because a swapped cable can break playback that looked stable. File CMS logins with the client and link the manufacturer’s mount and player manuals.
